Early prototype • Open hardware + software

Make dumb appliances talk, listen, and think.

CABLE is a universal connector that sits between your hardware and your software, turning printers, fridges, and other household machines into smart, programmable, autonomous devices.

Local-first by design • Retrofit existing appliances • Built for hackers, makers, and hardware-curious developers.

How CABLE works

A small module taps into your appliance's control lines, runs lightweight firmware, and speaks to a gateway server over WiFi or serial. The server exposes clean APIs and events for apps, scripts, and voice assistants.

What can you build with CABLE?

Smart printer

Monitor status, trigger jobs, and let the printer order its own ink when levels run low.

Aware fridge

Track door events and temperature, send alerts, and sync with shopping lists or inventory tools.

Energy-savvy washer

Run cycles automatically when energy prices are lowest and notify your phone when it's done.

Custom automations

Tie everything together with scripts, home automation rules, or your own AI agents.
